I'm still not sure what these are...a flaky buttery pastry. They are filled with a semi-sweet filling which for lack of a better description had a bit of a meat inspired aftertaste. In either case, they were really good. The lady just before us ordered 27 boxes which is about three times what is seen here. We had to come back later.
