This women welcomed us into her home. Her history is like that of so many in this country, her brothers, sisters, husband, sons, and daughters were all killed by the brutal Khmer Rouge. I encouage anyone who is unfamiliar with the regime to look it up, but be parpared, because quite frankly, the brutality exhibited is practically unrivalled in modern history.
